Giant Sea Turtles

From May to October, giant 300 lb. sea turtles arrive at Playa
del Secreto each year to lay their eggs. Each night, as many as
10 new nests can be found on the Playa del Secreto beach.
You may sit in the sand next to these wonderful creatures and
watch as they lay their eggs and then walk with them as they return
to the sea. It is an experience of a lifetime!

Snorkeling

Snorkeling trips to nearby reefs are available. The 2 hour trip
is on a fully equipped boat with a bathroom and includes beer, soft
drinks and snacks for $25 per person. Make a reservation through
the house manager at Casa del Secreto.

Sub Aqua Explorers offers deep sea fishing charters from Puerto

Cave Tour

a tour that takes you back 5 million years, in just an hour and
fifteen minutes. Learn about how the Mayans used the caves, as
well as the formation process of the stalactites, stalagmites
and the cave itself. After touring pathways along beautiful cave
formations, you see a breathtaking cenote of crystal clear water
with a depth of 12 meters, and a no less magnificent vault with
thousands of stalactites.
